Yellow is a great color for summer. This is because summer is all about being "loud and fun". What's more "loud and fun" than yellow. During summer the days are bright and nights are short so u need something that will work the entire time. A perfect color is yellow because yellow is perfect during the day and equally as pretty at night. Yellow has the same properties as the color white. So it deflects the sun so you won't be to hot in yellow.

Yellow is a statement. Depending on the shade of yellow, you can says you are loud and fun or u are cute and sweet. The brighter the yellow the more of a statement it is. As well as the more yellow in one item the more of a focal point it is. The first two outfit are different takes on a bright yellow.

The first is a yellow sweatshirt that I paired with black shorts and a yellow bandana. This outfits focal point, the sweatshirt, is very easily seen. You are immediately drawn to it.

While the second outfit is just bright accessories. The way I paired it was I saw the yellow in my shirt and wanted to essentiate it. So I paired it with a neck bandanna and a yellow hair tie. I did this to not overpower any one item but show off one specific part in the shirt. By pairing these items u are drawn to all the yellow in the outfit which is not only the assecories but also the shirt. This perfectly shows off what I want it to show off.

The third outfit is a mustard yellow. It is darker than the others so it gives a different message. The entire outfit is also a sportier look. Instead of a loud vibe it is softer and more neutral. Yellow is one of those colors that looks great all on its own. It's all about not having to much going on. You must find the right items to assemble it with. Yellow is a wonderful color during summer if you wear it right.
